With all the negative vibes going around Ut sports the last 24 hours, I think we should take this time to honor Eric Berry for all he has down and stood for within the football program. He gave people a reason to talk about us in a positive way over the past few years. I do hate to see him go pro, but I can fully understand why he is doing it, to help out his family. I would like to be the first to thank him for not only coming to UT, but also set an example for the kind of players we want to come to UT in the future.

Berry did everything he was asked. He was here with class and he left with class. He struggled with the decision to leave too... that should say something about our current coaching staff and want it means to be a vol.

20 million dead presidents say it wasnt too hard of a struggle. But thats why you go to college is to better yourself. In EBs case he will better his whole family for generations to come if he is smart with his money.

My family stayed at the Hilton where the team stayed for the bowl game. During our stay, we got to meet and talk with many of the players. I just wanted to say just how impressed everyone was with E.B. He stayed in the lobby and allowed people to take pictures with him, and signed literally hundreds of autographs for young fans.
