There's only two left, Tebow and Berry, with Bradford recently going 3.

I would speculate, but I'm going to refuse to sink down to the media's level.

The list can be easily discredited. They have like 4 DE's before they mention Carlos Dunlap, including George Selvie. I think Dunlap had twice as many sacks as him last year.

He should be there, he alone accounts for 7-10 points per game... and he's on defense.

Does being a Vol mean you are a hater. I can't do that. I don't care how much passion I have for the Vols I appreciate good talent.

Yea, I think the media down here reported he was also triple teamed most of the time last year.:dunno:

How do you triple team a DE "most of the time" and win? If you are going to do that you might as well forfeit the game.

Dunlap isn't there because he has been atrocious agains the run to date, even to the point of being a platoon style player.

The run might be a weakness for him, but I think "atrocious" is a bit of an exaggeration. He's projected by many as a top 5 pick next year. If he were that bad against the run that would be impossible.

no it wouldn't. Pass rushers are glamor guys and can be picked high for that skill. He's not a run stopper and that's gonna hurt. He's a more athletic Pat Toomay.

EB could have a big day Saturday:

Elson believes that the Vols will rely heavily on the run and is preparing his team accordingly. Part of that preparation is getting his team ready to throw the deep ball.

"One of the things we've talked about is how we have to get better at completing the deep pass," head coach David Elson said. "We have to be able to complete those passes in this offense, so it was good to see our guys respond [in the scrimmage] with the lights on, and hopefully that will give them some confidence going forward."

rico sittin at n0 57. thats not a bad spot for him even tho I would have picked him over some cb's from some of the smaller schools. and just because houstons qb threw for so many yards doesnt solidify him. he hasnt really played against anyone has he?
