It was an awesome to see a guy who takes his role and image in the eyes of fans quite seriously, especially in a day and age of pre-madona players

not a pre-madonna. I like it

In short, this guys nephews got an autograph from EB. someone on the team told them that sometimes the players give away their gloves so they asked EB for his. EB had already given away his gloves, but he took off his shoes signed the and gave them to the kids. What an awesome guy.
Thanks! That is mighty nice of him. He is a class act and I wish him the best of luck in the NFL(except for when playing the Colts).

My buddy had the same flight as Eric to Kansas City and was nervous to talk to a legend. He approached him at the baggage claim to tell him thanks for his time at Tennessee and good luck...Eric spent the next 20 minutes talking to him like they were good college buddies and even introduced him to his teammate Arenas(Alabama). Genuine all around great person!! Good Luck Mr. Berry!!

Eric Berry, you're a class act all the way. I hope you have great success. Remember that Tennessee loves you but please oh please don't ever get a pick on Peyton!

Why people love Peyton more than any other Vol gets me. He was good and he's a great person. But why him over every other Vol? Just curious. Personally, I think on those teams back when Peyton played, Al Wilson was the best player on the team.

Nice story, but this blogger is going to cost EB a small fortune in shoes. He should have kept that part to himself, IMHO. Talking about the time he spent autographing would have been sufficient to get the point across.

It will cost someone a small fortune in shoes, but not Eric Berry. Do you really believe Eric is paying for his equipment?

I had a similar experience when I ran into Eric. He is top notch. I wish he was still in orange but I also wish him nothing but success.

St. Joseph Mo. is my hometown. We lobbyed for years for the Chiefs to come there instead of River Falls Wis. 6 years after I leave town they move it to MWSU.

2 of my nephews were interviewed by local news station during a workout. Sister put the clip of faebook.

I havent heard of one Chiefs fan doubt EB as their #1 draft pick. I for one am proud to have him in Red and gold.

I bet Knowshon Moreno sh** a brick when Goodell announced "with the 5th pick of the NFL Draft the Kansas City Cheifs select: Eric Berry - Tennessee".

I'm really going to miss Berry this fall and beyond.

I'm glad he chose to be a Vol!
