I normally don't bother to read these chat transcripts, but EB's was really good.

About UT fans chanting his name:

Said he gets really excited when he hears the UT fans all shouting out his name during games. Says it is crazy and he doesn't know exactly what to do. Says doesn't know whether to jump up and down or just stand there.

About talking trash:

Says he doesn't talk trash b/c doesn't want to get a penalty. Opposing teams' players don't talk a lot of trash to him, but they do sing the "Eric Berry, Eric Berry" Swiperboy song to him during the game.

Comparison as freshman w/ Janzen Jackson:

Says JJ's grades were a lot higher than his own as a freshman. (I had no idea JJ was a gentleman AND a scholar!)

Giving up a TD as freshman:

Against Riley Cooper of Florida. Really left an impression on him.

Tells story of Coach O "fussing out" the wrong player for missing class b/c Coach O couldn't remember his player's names early on.

The Dallas Cowboys are his favorite team.

He is not talking about his academic grades, he is talking about his football grades. After each practice and game each player is graded on a 100 point scale. If his grades are better than EB's that is scary.

Eh - different staffs for Eric and JJ their freshman year probably has a lot to do with the grading.

Is Eric Berry even old enough to remember when the Cowgirls were good. It has been almost 5000 days since they won a playoff game, look it up. Berry Switzer was the coach. Poor kid, this is clearly a case of bad upbringing. I hope he has a great pro career, but seriously man, stay the heck out of Dallas, Jerry Jones is AL Davis Jr.

YOU EITHER LOVE THEM OR YOU HATE THEM. I BECAME A COWBOYS FAN BACK WHEN ED "TOO TALL" JONES & RANDY WHITE WERE PLAYING! PLUS THEY SEEM TO ALWAYS HAVE AN EX UT PLAYER ON THE TEAM!
