In watching some clips from the game Saturday I have to agree that this kid will be a ball hawk by the end of the year. His youth caused him to give up several plays but at least it was poor technique that got him beat and not lack of athleticism. If he waits one more second before turning to make plays on the ball he has three picks that game instead of one. Can't wait to see this guy progress!

Agreed 100%. However this was his second (third counting the All-American high school game) game at CB. He played safety in high school.


Not trying to be overly optimistic but the kid is the only one right now that looks to be a playmaker on UT's defense.

He wasn't burned. Like I said if he stays with the receiver a little longer before turning to make a play on the ball he picks off both of those. Poor technique can be fixed, being slow cannot (Parrish, Johnson) and slow he is not.

I thought that as well, at least the one he misjudged his jump in the endzone.I think the reserve Gator also cut in too soon on his route or something to that effect when he intercepted it.All that said, he will be an All American one maybe two years provided the program gets turned around.

Does he have potential? Yes. Is he a beast yet? Not even close. If he had done this and if he had done that means 2 TD's and several other passes caught. He should be good but he is not playing correct right now.
