I'd like to see him get a few carries for sure. Not necessarily out of the g-gun/wildcat formation, but possibly out of the backfield, or on an end-around from the WR position.

We also would need to have him on the field as a decoy some as well though, otherwise its just a wild tell to the other team that he is about to get the ball when he is out there.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me if all of this "EB won't play offense" that Kiffin is talking about is just a smokescreen for some trickery vs Florida. He IS the ultimate troll, and I could see him rolling that deep just to get at Florida.

If they are serious about the Heisman campaign, they are going to have to get him involved to a small degree on offense. I'd like them to keep it to a minimum, but he could be pure gold as a decoy...knowing defenses are going to focus on him, and if they spot a mismatch, where they can swing him out of the backfield, where a LB has to cover him, I say "Go for it!"

He could prove to be a mean redzone alternative to Crompton, every once in a blue moon.

I think it would be brilliant to have him learn a half dozen plays at receiver. Decoy or not I don't see anybody out jumping him for a touch lob into the corner of the endzone.

Kiffin must not want him to win the Heisman. There's no way a defense only player will have a shot. One person not on many peoples radars is Evan Royster at PSU. He's gonna rack up a ton of yards playing that cake schedule.

I like the idea as the decoy...yeah, if he gets a LB on him then just have him streak out deep and throw it up for him.

I have seen this article before. These guys need to realize, this is not last year. We have a new coaching staff, and Clawson's offense is no more. They need to understand that just because our QBs struggled last year in a bad system, along with our RBs, WRs and OL, does not mean they will struggle this year. Not sure why they don't get that.

I cant remember wat game it was but they played him on offense like 5 times and wasnt the same on defense so noooooooooooooooooooooo:)

Berry is a weapon when he's got the ball in his hands. I don't see how it would hurt to get him a couple of touches on offense each game.

berry should be given a shot at the heisman whether he plays on offense or not. hes a tremendous athlete and the best defender in the country

I would like to see him on the offensive side. He will make things happen no matter what side he is on.
