I've said this before, if Berry is even anything short of a complete drop off (I would be confident, but look at Hefney's slide) he'll be up there with Grant IMO.

That's awesome. I hope that more accolades follow - and more reasons for the accolades follow as well!

Lincoln deserves a shout out too. Who would have guessed going into the season that he would be so solid? Well...I didn't. He has been very impressive.

Berry's rep will continue to grow as he plays on the hill. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

And what a relief it is to have a freshman kicker that we don't have to worry about. After all the negative reports from spring ball it is amazing what he's accomplished. We've seen a few times this year that a kicker can make or break a game.

Congrats to both!

I would love to see this guy return punts or maybe have some offensive plays put in for him next year. He is extremely talented. Well deserved honor.

forget the freshman thing, Berry's is one of the top safeties I've seen all season. He's made some mistakes, as you'd expect, but he has been a beast otherwise.

I had the same thought about his returning kicks. Very explosive speed.

it's REALLY nice to see a true 5 star recruit out of high school actually live up to that billing.

so many of them seem to turn into duds once they get to college.

I can't help but think had Gerald Jones been healthy all year we would be saying the same thing about him that we are Berry. G Jones is an amazing athelete and a fierce competitor, like Berry the kid could play anywhere on the field and be an impact player. Look for great things from this kid as well as Berry in their futures at UT.

Berry is a great player. Rogan is doing a good job returning punts, and putting Berry back there just on a regular basis just exposes him to injury, which we can ill afford. That said, it might be an interesting idea for a couple of certain plays on offense in a key situations and maybe, just maybe, a kick return or two to mix things up.

I can't remember a better freshman class coming through UT. There was tons of hype for these youngsters and I'll have to say that they have lived up to it. If Fulmer and the gang play their cards right, championships will be won at UT in the near future.

Berry is extremely deserving of this, this kid gives his all for Tennessee every day. Keep it up.
