Well, I gotta feeling EB is going to wind up being greater than Deion ever dreamed of being. As a player and as a person.

He's already accomplished the latter and certainly has the potential to be an NFL great.

I went from loving Berry to not caring about his career. I hated the Chiefs before he was one so I don't care how he does. Kind of like Mayo with the Pats and Manning with the Colts. I'm sure Berry will have a great career and many Vol fans will become Chief fans but that will never be me. I'm not a bandwagon fan like that. Unlike 99% of the Colts fans that post here.

Colts fans that became Colts fans right when Manning joined aren't bandwagon fans.

And I'll go as far as to say I'll be pulling for the Chiefs now a lot more... Still a Titans fan, but I want to see Berry have all kinds of success.

How so? They probably cheered for another team prior. I've chosen one team in every sport and stuck with them. I could care less what a Vol player does once they are no longer playing for MY team. The Pats, Chiefs and Colts aren't my team. The Titans are.

Another example is all the Cavs fans on here. I see tons but even fans located in Ohio didn't cheer for the Cavs before Lebron. It's so annoying. Just my opinion...

Good to know there's still hope to sway you from your ignorance. I guess you're a bandwagon fan once the Titans moved to Tennessee then. Nice logic fail.

And one more thought to add...

I see fellow fans cheer for the Colts because of Peyton Manning and now the Chiefs because of Eric Berry?

By that logic.... I should hate Jevon Kearse and he is one of if not my favorite Titan of all time. He was born in Florida and was a Gator in college.

I have no problem wanting to say former plays do well but to cheer for their team as a whole is bandwagon.

Thanks for assuming.

Check out who my favorite baseball team is.

Look who failed now bandwagon Billy.

I'm a Falcons fan, I won't be Chiefs fan, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm a Berry fan. I hope he does have a great career, but I'm still not a Chiefs fan, and don't plan to be.

I've never been a major fan of any particular team before now, I've always just rooted for teams on a game to game basis. If it makes me a "bandwagon" fan so be it.

So... you were an Oiler fan prior to the move? Or just not an NFL fan untill they moved to Nashville?

Based on the fact that his favorite baseball team is the Astros...I'd say he was an Oiler.

In my mind its not being a bandwagon fan when your favorite player goes to a team via the draft and you start rooting for them. Bandwagoning is cheering for a team that is popular when they do well, and then picking a new one when they start back downhill. I.e. Boston when they won the series in 2004, N.O. Saints after this past Superbowl...etc.

That was always my definition.

I'm a Cav fan and became one after spending time in Cleveland and Akron, attending LBJ events, and even spending a day or two in Spring Hill Apts (LBJ's childhood home) Ill freely admit I dropped the Bulls after they split em up and didn't have a team until I fell in love with Cleveland.

Just think what this world would be like if no one ever changed their thought process. We would still be living on a flat world and the sun would be rotating around the Earth. Get a grip. I agree that there are bandwagoners out there that will jump from team to team year to year just because of some significant (in their mind) event. But to say that every Tennessean that is a Colts fan because of Peyton is a bandwagoner is just an unfair stereotype and probably borderline idiotic. I for one became a Colts' fan when Peyton went to Indy, but I never really had any allegiance to any other NFL team at that time. No team in TN equaled no real connections with one. Peyton gave me the connection to the Colts that will make me a lifer. Does that make me a bandwagon fan...I think not. But then again why should we all judge people based solely on stereotypes?

I don't really know what constitutes a bandwagon fan, but I only root for ex-UT players, especially the ones who continue to support the program. I don't really care about their teams as I no longer care much for pro football(or pro sports for that matter). I was a Steelers fan growing up, but that was back when a qb could actually get hit and get up and keep playing(i.e. Bradshaw, Staubach, etc). Now, it seems to be more about the show than the game itself. On top of that, Vegas seems to have their hands in it a bit too much. I guess I am just a college sports fan anymore, but I try to keep track of our players and their careers and would like to see them all do well.
