Lou Holtz isn’t self aware enough to not spit when he talks. Maybe when Lou starts watching football, he’ll give Drew Brees and Michael Vick a gander.

Oh, that’s right. Holts is one of those fogies who doesn’t believe in talent. He evaluates recruits by how they put their pants on one leg at a time, or something other.

I’d be happy if someone said that about me. Definitely a good quote. I don’t agree with its accuracy though.

I need football season to get here. I’m bored out of my mind.

This is why he used to talk up the School of Little Blind Sisters of Southnorthern State Who Don’t Read Good when he was at Notre Dame . Notre Dame was always lucky to get the win .

Stats based placement. His actual on field impact wasn't that good. I said it back then that Barnett was overrated. He benefited from the fact o-line play was awful in the SEC back then. Once he got to the NFL his lack of pass rush ability got exposed.

He was a starter in the NFL. Dobbs can't get on a roster unless QB1 and QB2 are hurt

What are you even talking about? Dobbs is currently the backup for the Patriots and started nearly the entire 2023 season. Maybe before 2023 you could say that. But last couple of years have proven that to be false. Dobbs is looked at as one of the more reliable backup QBs in the league and has the backup job in New England right now.
