If this has been discussed, sorry. I keep hearing about a lockout by the owners. Would that impact Eric's decision about leaving early?

Eric Berry isnt coming back, look at S.Bradford, just accept this people, HE IS G-O-N-E and im happy for him

It would affect him if he came back for his senior year. If he goes in this draft it won't. That's why he needs to go now and not wait another year.

I am also happy for him, but the point about the possible lockout is my question. Would there even be a draft if it did happen?

It was reported earlier today on the NFL network that the lockout will not take place in 2010.

Eric berry has said that the only way
He would come back for another year is if his mother and
Father could find a job. Where are the
Big boosters when we need them?

If they don't sign a labor agreement (i don't think they will) next year will be a uncapped year and he will get crazy money. I don't blame him for going.

He is gone, and I would be if I was him. Hope he is drafted by the titans or Carolina. But doubt either of them they both need qbs. Just don't want him to go to the raiders, Detroit or some crappy team.

Maybe the Titans can pick him up, we suck this year.
The only thing is, the Titans need CB help...not really Safety help, plus they flushed their entire season down the toilet funking around and letting Haynesworth hit free agency. They had 2-3yrs to lock him up at a do-able salary, and they pi$$ed that away...trying to low-ball him every step of the way, thinking they could do so since he has had injuries at one point in the season most years.

They are now realizing with every loss, how much of a major cock-up that really was. They get a few of those losses back in the win column if he was still on the team. The DL now absolutely gets NO pressure...Vanden Bosch looked like an Pro-Bowler every year, playing next to Big Al...now he looks like a player from the scout team.
The only way to rectify that personnel screw up is to draft Suh from Nebraska.

Titans need more than Berry. 59-0!! giving up 35 points in the second quarter?

Are we sure that was not Vandy out there in Titans jerseys??
Fisher is going from the penthouse to the outhouse at warp speed, and it's all on his shoulders. It's been his disastrous personnel decisions that has the team right where it is...the worst in the NFL.

He has been a staunch supporter of Kerry Collins even though Collins as reverted to the same form he came in with...HE'S THE VERY SAME GUY!!! Fisher always used the line that since the team was winning with Collins (last year), that he was their guy. Excuse me, but Vince is the one with the fat contract you drafted to be your franchise QB...and you started him the 3rd game into his rookie season. He won a bunch of games for the Titans and carried the team for a number of those. I've never seen Collins carry the team.

Young pulled an immature stunt last year...fine. You suspend him for a few games and put him back where he belongs. How does Fisher know that they couldn't have won as many or more games with Vince last year? He doesn't. He has simply refused to play him. Meanwhile we are pi$$ing millions of dollars down the drain, and for the same amount we're wasting on Young (while he rides the bench) we could've kept Haynesworth. If Fisher doesn't put Young back in as the starter, I hope the embarrassing losses keep coming...his stubborn self will find a pink slip waiting for him just in time for the new year.

Eric needs to go to the NFL. Guaranteed money. I don't know about everyone else but I would be disgusted if he came back next year and suffered any injury that would hinder his status entering the NFL.

Slow down. It is NOT Fisher's decisions. Much as LK didn't want Russell, Fisher did not want Young. He is not an NFL qb. He got overruled by an owner who thinks he knows more about football than his personnel guys.

Albert Haynesworth is a fat and lazy and he isn't doing anything in DC. He's barely averaging 2 tackles per game and he's got 1 sack. And the skins have played a winless team every week this year and they're still 2-4.

Now the way his players quit yesterday is all on Fisher.

No crappy teams-- only good ones like Titans and Panthers:crazy:

I agree more with this one. Personnel can be hung on Bud Adams and that vice president of football ops that left the year after he forced VY onto the team. Haynesworth simply wanted too much money.

Albert needs all that money because by the time his wife gets her hands on it he will only get half.

I don't think there is any way that Al Davis uses his first round pick on a player from Tennessee, just in spite of Lane Kiffin.

Titans issues on defense are not due to haynesworth leaving, but instead because of their DC leaving for Detroit. Chuck Cecil (sp?) is not an NFL caliber DC.
