The real Epstein files...if there are any...are at CIA HQ and will never see the light of day. He was an intelligence asset, pure and simple, and the CIA operates as a government unto themselves. No president or congress can touch them...which is sad. People can whine and b!tch all they want to, but you're not gonna get the actual "truth" for about another 50 years, if even then.

Following are key findings from a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted on February 13-16:
  • 42% of Americans say they have heard "a lot" about the Epstein files and 47% say they have heard a little, while one in 10 say they haven't heard anything at all.
  • 69% said their views were captured "very well" or "extremely well" by a statement that the Epstein files "show that powerful people in the U.S. are rarely held accountable for their actions".
  • 53% said their views were described very or extremely well by a statement that "the Epstein files have lowered my trust in the country’s political and business leaders".
  • 75% think the U.S. government is still hiding information about the alleged clients of Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to charges including soliciting prostitution from a minor.
  • Asked if their views were well described by the statement that "it’s time for the country to move on from talking about the Epstein files", 67% of Republican respondents said this captured their thinking at least somewhat well, while only 21% of Democrats said the same.
  • The Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted online and nationwide, gathered responses from 1,117 U.S. adults and had a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

So after all the pizzagate, QAnon rightwing furor over pedophilia... and after the orange one's cabinet cabal of incompetents vociferously campaigned that there would full be transparency... and after the orange one's name was discovered about the files (to the likes of which we've never seen!), now 2/3 of republicans are now ready to move on despite millions of pages not being released and dozens of victim's allegations going uninvestigated.

How could this be?
