I believe the coaches will pull out all stops for this game on defense and offense. They will do whatever they can to score so I think we will see a lot of misdirection, trick plays, etc. I wouldn't be surprised to see Berry in on some offensvie plays, maybe just for a decoy. Whatever you think we won't run, we will. And there is no telling what Monte will bring out for this game, as it has been stated many times that he has studied Florida game film more than any other team.

Hey, we might get beat, and it may be pretty bad, but it will be an exciting game either way. And with the rain, you never know. :clapping:

I hope Kiffin and co have been holding back these past 2 games. Hope its not like the past 14 games. Same crap, different week.

Speaking of Rain, I remember beating a team in a downpour 45-3..who was it, oh yeah Florida.

I agree but I just don't think it will be enough. I have never hoped I was wrong so much in my life.

you guys think Kiffin is crazy enough to downplay the UCLA game to make people think were worse than we are? just to surprise FLA??

sounds dumb but the thought popped in my head earlier today.

I don't think he downplayed it, but i definitely don't think he has shown all his cards.

I have a feeling UT is going to feel deeply disrespected and come out head hunting...Could be a couple of fights break out before this one is over.

If your coach held back playing a big home game against a non conference opponent you had better get rid of him immediately. That kind of mentality would be worse for your program than anything Fulmer ever did. If there are plays he didn't run it had better be because the players don't execute them well in practice. What's the use in holding back if it costs you a game?

I hope we do start a fight—whatever we have to do to take them out of their game.

Yep, this could get real ugly quick, cause Florida will be doing the same. I know that Bama has always been "our biggest rival", but this game has developed its own kind of level of hate.:furious3:

The thing about using the gimmick plays and formations against UF is that you have to be highly practiced and disciplined to pull it off against a defense with the kind of team speed that UF has. Good defenders have a nose for the ball and when you combine that with quickness it's deadly for slow developing stuff. I don't know how much practice time the Vols have devoted to this kind of stuff, but my guess is not enough to able to pull it off against UF. My guess is that we are going to see a similar game plan to what we saw last week and they are just going to hope that everyone exectues better.

Interesting, I couldn't disagree more, but I understand your thinking. I am looking for the offensive playcalling to be similar to Bowden's in his early years at FSU. Why not? We've got nothing to lose.

I Think you are 100% correct. It's gonna be a dog fight. Tn. has a chance, that's all you can ever ask for. GO VOLS:rock: In response to Volunteer hillbilly

I agree. They know an upset against Florida will definitely sway those recruits who are on the fence and may even make some other recruits start looking our way. Not that we have enough spots left to fill. An upset will definitely be a good thing.

I believe we will see Nuke on reverses, lined up at qb, and he may even throw the ball downfield a time or two.

Once again, as I stated earlier in the week. Since Kiffin was hired Hamilton told him on the first day to beat UF. So, Kiffin played Possum in order to give them nothing of substance on film. He knew Monte's D could beat UCLA itself. He didn't predict coming up 1 yard shy of victory, but hey $hit Happens!! Vols 16-UF14...Last second field goal!! Tebow blows ACL in second quarter from a massive Gerald Williams Hit!! Oh yeah, and Berry breaks the NCAA record for INT return yards...LET'S GO BIG ORANGE!!!
