I have seen more individual blame thrown about today than I have seen since Bama.

It's Ainge's fault. It's Cut's fault. It's Fulmer's fault(ultimately this one is the most true, but I digress) It's Demonte's fault(poor excuse for a Vol? Al Wilson got mad too, how 'bout him?...)

Blame game central for losing the SEC championship game. Losing the Southeastern Conference Championship game.

A team that was and is only average at best, managed to gut it's way to the title game and VolNation turns into rip city. Enough already.

This coaching staff did more with less than they are coming close to getting credit for around here. I'm ready for a change in direction. I've said so since after Florida. But I have to admit that Fulmer et al stuck with this thing and fashioned a decent recovery from a brewing debacle. Credit where it is due. They pulled it out. And earned another season.

The outcome of Saturday's game was in my opinion inevitable. Tennessee had too many glaring weaknesses to suppose any kind of superiority in this game. It was, I guess, because it wound up being so close, that so many are so pissed. You shouldn't be. It wound up being probably a better outcome than we deserved. Let it go.

This one of the reasons I stayed off the board until today - I thought (mistakenly) that the blame game would have died down.

Good post as usual. :hi:

Great now we can add you to the list of people to blame! :)

LOL, I started to make a thread blaming the water boy since everyone else has been thrown under the bus.

I hear where you are coming from OW=H.

I honestly didn't feel too bad after the SECCG. We made it there and made a game out of it until the 4th quarter. No one gave us a chance to make it there and they all said if we did we would get blown out of the water by LSU.

We didn't win, but we gave LSU all they wanted.

I think it was my fault....I sat on the wrong couch during that last drive

i was really nice to the little LSU kid that sat beside me. Made sure he didn't spill his nacho cheese all over his brother and helped him get his cell phone back that he dropped underneath the seat below us. It's my fault. Rex, you're totally innocent. I should've just popped the kid in the mouth and we would've won by 3 touchdowns.

No guys, I take all the blame, every game we've lost I've been unable to watch at home for various reasons but every game we won I watched at my house (or listened to on the radio at my house). So all the losses have been my fault!!! I'm sorry and I will clean out my locker after the bowl game....which I will be watching @ my house BTW.

I blame my lack of drinking enough ETOH to produce a victory for the Vols. I can remember the game and by doing so, I let the team down.

This is definitely a systemic issue. Most of us were just thankful to be there.

I normally drink Guinness during the game at BWW. I was drinking Newcastles during the game. So, it's Jakes fault.
