They had more offensive yards than us, more first downs. Take away 5 turn overs (3 were unforced) and over 100 yards of penalties by VT and we probably do not win.

Except for the fumble recovery last week, Hurd would have been kept scoreless two weeks in a row. Didn't break 100 tonight. Line needs serious overhauling and Dobbs passing on third and long is really bad. Play calling only marginally improved.

I've never been negative before so this pains me.

Yeah I'm worried about the offense. Maybe they can keep working things out in the passing game.

Keep Thomas the hell off the OL until he's completely healthy. That was the biggest turnaround of the game when Jack Jones came in.

Dead on analysis! Without some quick drastic improvement by players AND COACHES (ESPECIALLY DUBORD), we will get stomped by good SEC teams. The team at this point looks like a 6-8 win team.

Why take away 5 turnovers. They happened. And forced some of those by great defensive plays. They had more yards? Okay? Who had more points? That's what matters. Dude enjoy the win!

Sounds like you had money on Virginia Tech! Tennessee kicked Virginia Tech's arse no matter what the sad negavol trolls say about it.

You can what if everything. Instead of taking away 5 turnovers let's say Dobbs throws 5 touchdown bombs. What if we ran for 400 yards. Regardless of the outcome, they made the mistakes and the Vols capitalized.

Our offense wasn't really very good, though we took advantage of turnovers. It wasn't just the VT turnovers that helped; they had a ton of penalties as well. I am encouraged by the defense, which again played very well after a bad first quarter. We certainly don't fool anybody with our play-calling.

The lack of passing yards is very worrisome. No wonder top receivers are weary of coming here.

And Ray Charles can see that Kamara pass we keep running.

These threads are repetitive. We played a game in prime time on ABC in front of the largest crowd to ever watch a football game... and won by 3 TD's. Be upset if you want to but that is more of a reflection of you than this program. I will wait until we actually lose to be this miserable.

Yes, but I predicted a close win for Vols...four points. VaTech matches up well with us I think, and Fuente is a good coach who grabbed the best JUCO QB in the country, a legit four star with playing experience. And their D under Foster is always good.

So just thank goodness we had some luck for once, because we have had more than our share of bad luck for at least 7 years now.

My opinion is that the turnovers turned a close win into a blowout.

Just enjoy that we are 2-0 and the whole season is ahead of us. :)

Most of those turnovers were forced...

I only remember two being forced. The snap over the QBs head, the muffed punt, and the first fumble on a botched handoff were all VT mistakes, unforced errors.

So, if 2 out of 5 qualifies as "most" now, I guess you're right.

Yeah, he only got 99. He's clearly a bust.
