Hopefully, your room doesn’t face the river. My last time in a River St hotel, noise from the street below continued into the wee hours, and it was just a normal weekend.

Casual seafood fans should try a Shack Cone from the Savannah Seafood Shack - a waffle cone made in house filled with fried shrimp, fish, or oysters. They also offer calamari or chicken tenders.

So I drove home from New York yesterday. We drove instead of flying so I could deliver something to my brother. I’m 15 hours in the car with Red getting pictures from him as I drove.

No way! We got there Thursday afternoon and left Sunday around lunch. Very cool place. We did a ghost tour, the segway tour, and went Fort Pulaski.

Niece was in Hilton Head earlier in the week and they had to get everybody out of the water because of a baby shark.

It was so cool! There were at least 3 other people there with Vols stuff on. My brother in law kept pointing them out to me.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Savannah over the decades. My favorite time to visit is late February/early March.
