That's one of the things I thought about with Tiffany. She went out on the Gulf fishing one time, and she was miserable.

Some years ago, I flew on a CRJ 700 from Atlanta to “Peyton Manning,” NE, direct. High, fast flight, little turbulence, great crew, no a$$hole passengers. Checked all the boxes. Walking the tarmac out to board the jet was a trippy throwback in time.

Sounds like my wife. On that same trip we went on a catamaran excursion in key west to snorkel. She spent the whole time curled up in a ball trying not to puke. We laugh about it now but it sucked.

Exactly!
Sometimes the I-40 exit from the west(downtown) is backed up a mile+.
Politics hasn't helped either.

BNA runs commercials saying they have a great "on time departure" record, but if you don't get to the airport on time...

I was once on an AVL - CLT flight, and were literally on Charlotte taxiways longer than we were in the air (flight time usually 22-25 minutes)
