when i returned it, the person at the store said 'you get a bunch of error codes?', i said 'yep', they said 'exactly the reason why ps3 sucks...i refuse to buy one'.

i've had 2 ps3s. never seen an error code, and to be honest you're the first person i've heard had that problem. did u get a ps3 slim?

got an error code for the update, turned the media server or whatever it's called off. took it four more attempts to get the update done. after that it let me sign onto psn and create my name/choose avatar. tried to download a game demo, it got to 4% and then went into another error code and signed me off.

after that i tried turning the system off and on again, it would never let me sign into ps3, said it couldnt get an internet connection. my xbox runs without every having problems, almost 24 hours a day(for netflix).

you can't prove you bought the thing...can you? never got on....never shared your ps3 info wit yo bff4life....never bought the thing

way to give up without actually letting one of us help you through it. i have had maybe 4 error codes the whole 6 years i have been playing and 3 of them were because my router went bad.
