End the "woo"

How do you feel about the "Woo" in Rocky Top?

Hate the woo. Always have and always will understanding the woo is now firmly entrenched. That being said there's a reason nature requires us all to croak and evolutionary changes to continue on. I'm rather confident there were old timers around at some point talking about the candy xxxxx foregoing the leather helmets with harder shells followed by newer old timers who thought anybody wearing a facemask on a helmet was a girl.

Somewhere there are little "woo" people who will take this post and the fact that UT fans say "woo" and be overly offended by this. The best way to end this debacle is have the chancellor send out a statement to all fans and have the fans and the band end the playing and singing of ROCKY TOP.
If it takes "woo" to get the fans in the game leave it alone.
Same goes for the OM band being banned from playing their song somewhere it has to end!

If I was sober, I wouldn't woo. The problem is I was almost always not sober at the game, and I was proud to wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,

The other day, the Ole Miss president banned the school fight song at games. Maybe the UT president can ban the woo during rocky top!!!

I loathe the woo...non-ut fans don't hate rocky top, they hate the woo. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band don't say, so neither should you!

With the results of the poll does it mean the minority of idiots who hate the woo will shut up for the sake of the nation, or will they continue to drag it through the mud?

Also keep this in mind. If you run this poll on children 13 and under you will have 90% woo support... which puts your gameday numbers at about a pathetic 13%, considering I have had to listen to if for 5 years now, I believe its time to shut-up and quit splitting.

The high pitch "woo" in Rocky Top has got to go! If the woo has to stay, can we at least make it the low pitch woo sound made by the crowd after a big hit.

If that makes me any less of a man, then so be it. I've certainly been called much worse things over the internet. :cool:

I'm a girl who doesn't woo. Where did the woo come from? When I was young we didn't woo. We didn't moo or coo or foo. The only wooers I see are girls and children. Men don't woo. Well, maybe girly men. THAT'S IT!! We'll box up woo and send it to USuCk. They have lots of girly men there! I can hear it now. Fight on. WOO!
