State starts 4 seniors, and a junior. Big difference than highly touted freshmen.

That’s interesting because UT starts 3 seniors, junior, and a freshman. How many of those highly touted freshmen are relied on as starters? There are dozens of teams that use freshman off the bench yet it’s some sort of crutch for CHW. I guess when we continue to do nothing in the NCAA and SEC tournaments some of you may stop making excuses

Not to mention that of those 4 starting guards, two of them played sparingly during their time at MSST. If Tennessee wants an experienced lineup, then thry could have started Westbrook, Jackson, Dunbar, Nared and Russell. Don't trust Westbrook? Start Green and let Nared handle the ball the same way Gabby Williams does for UConn. That's 4 seniors and a junior. But let's pretend that the fact that Shaefer and Johnson are seniors that are starting for the first time means they have some.insurmountable advantage over poor Tennessee with their 6 McD AAs.

Tennessee starts two seniors, a junior, and two freshmen. Just pointing out because you said one freshman, which is incorrect. They also rely heavily on another freshman off the bench.

LVs start two SRs, a JR and two FR, with a FR first off the bench. There are only three SRs on the team. It's a headscratcher why Green doesn't play more, though. KK is out of shape, but if they weren't going to RS her, they should have worked harder on her conditioning.

It's disgusting how critical some continue to be. It takes patience and 7 years to build a roster.

Please do the program a favor---resign.

That's wat we've been asking. Don't understand how she loves lady vols and still see her self getting to final 4.Next year will be worst if she didn't leave... I know well that she's done. She's going to be out in NCAA first or second round.

I think Holly is better as a recruiter and assistant coach. Some people just aren't meant to be a head coach. Take a look at all the coaches of major, winning programs and they are great motivators and developers of players. Getting top recruits is great, but if you don't develop them, they won't grow. Every year, it's "Wait until the new class comes in, Holly's got a great center coming in, the new freshmen will be better than this current class", etc. All that doesn't matter if the coaches don't develop them properly through the seasons, all those missed layups last night are inexcusable for all-Americans and this elite program! The coaches aren't doing their jobs.

hire Jeff Walz and be done with it. the guy is killing it at Louisville and would do the same here. Just named ACC coach of the year and had the ACC player of the year.

Holly isn't going anywhere til she retires. She has done more than well enough to please any AD as it pertains to WCBB. She just isn't pleasing some of the fans and at times some of the players parents. It may be hard to accept but it just may be that what you are seeing now is as good as it is going to get.

They will still recruit well and draw fans although that number is gradually decreasing year by year it is still right there in the Top 5. They may drop an ugly game here or there but talent should keep them as a perennial minimum S16 team. For an AD S16 for WCBB is more than enough to hold on to a job. They have to spend their time worrying about Football.

:lolabove: :lolabove:

What a JOKE! A PERENNAIL S16 Team.....WELL that's a high bar. I guess it is a high bar with the current Staff. SAD that the Holly loyalists will accept the Lady Vols being turned into a Metoo and becoming a NON identity in Womens Baseketball.
Sad Sad Sad

Holly in the last year of her contract now would be a great time to make a change. If they extend her three years or so this will relate to everyone she is here to stay until she retires.

The article I read yesterday said she would be evaluated after the season. I don’t think they extend her after the season. With just 13 months left, I think they wait and see. next season, and we'll see Holly playing for a contract extension. That seems like the most logical step, but UT’s approach to handling coaches have been illogical so. I would hope now with the boosters happy about getting a new football coach they’ll turn that energy toward the women’s basketball coach.

Maybe the only game they saw was the last one of the regular season...senior night.😉 Kort did start that game.

I wish, but we'll continue to see her destroy the legecy

Holly's not destroying the great legacy of Coach Summitt, nothing will. All Holly's doing is showing everyone she's not head coach of an elite program material. When you lose someone as amazing as Summitt, you can't expect to get to the final four or a championship immediately and really, the program may never recover to get to those heights again. I don't expect it to, certainly not with Warlick. I hope the Lady Vols can one day get a better head coach and start being back on top again, but I'm not expecting Coach Summitt 2.0.

For those who like Holly sorry, she's on her way outttt

Where did you read this? Do you know someone on the inside?
Catchings is no where in that list. Those are 3 coaches already secretly interviewed.

This is not a fact. If you think it is, give us a link to the story.

It's painful to hear the truth. Holly can never, ever, make it to sweet 16 again..

There is not way to know it.

Would one of you mods please either delete the baseless lies or change the title of the thread to something like I don't know **** but I like to holler fahr Holly.

Just watched the men’s team win a share of the SEC with 0 McDonald’s All-Americans on the roster. It is such a shame we can’t put the same effort into finding a women’s coach. Rick Barnes wins with kids who weren’t highly recruited. Buddy Holly loses with the “best” players in the country. Ole Miss just fired Insell. Now, they’ll get a good coach and start beating us regularly like SC and MSU does. Our players don’t need a best friend. They need a damn coach!

And I know we beat SC twice but that doesn’t even count without their best player!

I have a reliable source at the University that is telling me Holly will gracefully exit after the season- He tells me the stress & Criticism is taking its Toll & she & the University will work out a soft landing... Time for New Blood

I think that would be best for Holly and the program, but I doubt this happens. Her contract ends the spring of 2019 and I would not be surprised if she got a one year extension after this season is over.
