If people continue to go to home games, that's sending the message that no matter how much the administration continues to F#%@ the fan base and the university, they will believe we will continue to accept mediocrity as the norm for high level results.
yeah i get what you're saying... it's a slippery slope either way. the whole situation just sucks

I think the only way to get the attention of the AD is to empty Neyland I'm afraid.

Why run a campaign to empty Neyland? I don't know either. It will happen naturally anyway. I just listed my Georgia tickets for sale on Stubhub. I am really considering no renewing next year. Hope is fading.....

I'm not ready to do that to a guy that's been there one year. I do want the brand of football he wants. im just sitting back right now.Sure, blowouts against Georgia, Alabama and a couple others are coming.

If you're disappointed over the Gator game you've not seen anything yet. Batten down the hatches.

They'll keep showing up.

no need to debate this. Its a simple formula. As the losses mount so will the number of empty seats in the stadium. Each will take care of the other.
The exception will be the GA game. Stadium will be close to full due to GA fans buying all he empty seats.

Well I can say I've been at Thompson Boling Arena in the past when it's been less than half full.

This program will be just fine without you so bye-bye. Just remember you are a minority. There is such a majority over you that support this program that it's kind of funny watching you squirm.
And your support has gotten you what exactly?

I might be the dumbest person on this forum.
I bought into the year two preseason hype and I asked my stepbrother and my best friend, both UGA fans, if they wanted to go to the game. I told them they'd both have to agree to come because I would have to fly all the way from Germany. They said yes, I bought three $110 tickets from UT and a $600 round trip ticket to Atlanta.
So far I'm in $930 for the UT/UGA game.
After the GA St. Loss I looked to see if my plane ticket was refundable. Well it's not. So now I go have a good time with my two best friends and then drink away my Saturday after the game meaning I spend even more money or I cut my losses...
In addition to all of this, Friday, October 4th is my birthday. Fml.. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Nothing like a team trying to rebuild the foundation of our program while some fans actively try to sabotage it.
The team is trying? Funny, you must be watching a different group. Fans not showing up would only be exactly what this team and administration deserve.

I haven't gone to a game in a while but I'm on board.

The administration has had the money for years and they keep budget hiring coaches.

Maybe if they realize that their pockets are going to get shorter, they will make a good hire

Empty stands will bring turnover to the program. No doubt about that.

Depends on how many Vol fans really want to make a point by eating their tickets to show empty seats. But if people sell or give tickets away, the seats are still filled so no point is made.

I'm going to the Miss St game. I'm going for the tail-gates and to spend time with family. Now, if there's even going to be anyone tailgating? Thats the question :/

Georgia fans took over Nashville earlier in the season. If there is enough red in the stadium, and I expect they will travel well, it will advance the discussion about the direction of the program. When you begin to lose home field due to apathy decisions have to be made.

We absolutely should protest this **** show. Not showing up to the stadium will make the administration know the fans deserve better. And while the players might be disappointed initially...if the end result is us finally hiring a proven coach the players will be way better off.
For God sake‘s stop going with the value hires and go throw a bunch of money at a proven commodity. Gary Patterson, urban Meyer, Bob stoops. There are some good coaches available for the right amount of money.

I think we need to. Not to disrespect the players but to send a message to the coaches, AD, and boosters that the fans want better. There is no excuse to have this performance since 2007 12 years ago.

Disrespecting the players, the future recruits, is exactly what you would be doing! If you think this is the answer you must be an adolescent or a spoiled little brat. I guarantee you there"s plenty on here!!
