Maybe/maybe not, but in a life or death scenario, you fight with the weapons you have, not the ones you wish you had..

Dealing with someone pulling a gun on you doesn’t spawn many great PLANS. If she’s not fully in control of it and/or doesn’t have the drop on you, a good Sean Connery moment might be the difference between chalk outline or #MeToo protests.

My dad was told the same thing in a law enforcement self defense class. Instructor was asked what do you do if someone shoves a gun in your back and says give me your wallet. His reply was simply, "you give them your wallet"...

If they just want your wallet, you give it to them. But if they're likely going to shoot you anyway, better give them a moving target.

Even someone that does a lot of target shooting is going to have a low chance of hitting you if you can move quickly.

Actually if I read the details about BLM history correctly , the term started after the George Zimmerman verdict. The originator of the organization and subsequent development was a non-African-American and a long term socialist/Marxist activist. I read this quickly last week but may reread again tonight to make sure my post is accurate.

I saw a lead in to a video shown as part of a hand to hand class Navy SEALs take. It showed one of the instructors laying out the scenario of the bad guy with a knife approaching you as the Navy SEAL. The video stops and in the classroom instructor flips the lights on goes around the room asking each trainee what their first move would be. Rarely does one of the trainees get the correct answer. He restarts the video to demonstrate the correct answer which now shows the attacker approaching with a big knife in hand a Navy SEAL in a tshirt with combat fatigue pants and combat boots. As the attacker gets within about ten feet of the SEAL, the SEAL spins, does a 180, and runs like hell.
