This just seems like such an irreverent topic to fight about. Standing, sitting, just let people enjoy the game as they please. They spent their well earned money, just like everyone else at the game. The whole standing, sitting argument is very dumb to me, especially when the answer is: Dont be a selfish idiot and enjoy the game with the people around you.
If theyre sitting, sit. If theyre standing, stand. You need them to sit? Ask. If they dont, then theyre an ass. Im sure a usher could/would get someone to sit for you. Aint rocket science.
Also I really dont care if youve bought tickets for 50 years. My dollar is worth just as much as your dollar. Your right to enjoy the game, is the same as my right. Im not gonna hold someone in high regards for going to games for 5 decades. You dont get kudos for doing your job as a fan.
Everyone deserves the right to enjoy the game. Go be an adult, use your problem solving skills, and figure it out. If you cant figure out how to enjoy the game with the people around you, you need to self reflect hard.
Why are YOU quoting my post and lecture with "you" a dozen times? Are you directing all of those snarky comments at me?
I'm talking about the OP and others that think they're better fans for standing DURING THE ENTIRE GAME. Luckily I usually don't have people in front of me pulling that chit. Personally I start standing once my view is being blocked and I make sure that the people right behind understand that I'm standing because my view is being interfered with. I hate the pogo people that jump up when something happens... in the middle of the play... that gets frustrating because they're sitting and then pop up (football) and I miss what just happened.
I don't "need to self reflect hard".
