We beat UK, the healing has now officially begun. Way to GO Vols. Happy for the players and the coaches. Great job today.

It's what this program has become. 5-7, 7-6, 6-7, 5-7, and 5-7. Kentucky has been our bowl game lately.

It also showed how all the offensive players feel about Chaney. Did Dooley ever get that loving feeling?

Because unlike you, these players appreciate Chaney. Chaney has done a lot for our offense while he's been here and these players are giving him credit for that. He didn't get a "champions shower" for beating Kentucky. He got one for being a coach that relates to the players and has been through the same sh*t that most of them have. Good for CJC.

Well said.:good!:

Well if you want a reason...
2012 - SEC

Chaney - 1-0
Dooley - 0-7

Probably the first and maybe his last time as HC, last game of the season, first SEC win this year and probably the last time the players will see all those coaches.....so let them an he have fun at it.

The players looked relaxed, Bray and co. were smiling and looked like they were having a good time. Very telling that they gave Jim a Gatorade shower. Maybe if they would have canned Dooley earlier and let Chaney be interim they would be bowling. Also did anyone see Sal on the sidelines? Did he coach today?

Shut up....gosh almighty. These players like CJC and know that he probably will not be here next season, nor will our best players on this years team (minus AJ). It was first and only win as head coach. Let them celebrate...better than a loss.

Which is insane. A one year disappearance because of what happened was a good idea but taking it way completely is stupid.

Yeah, I hear that! Stoopid in my opinion. Now the MAD people are going to be after me.

Ok, if you didn't like that answer, how about this one...

It was a signature win for Chaney

Derek Dooley has worn off on every one of you, when you think celebrating beating a horrific UK team is worth a Gatoraide shower for whoever the coach is. Then to top it off calling it the champions shower is just sad and pathetic.

Merge this with the dumbassery in the bucket thread please. This season has been hard enough. Having complete assholic embiciles as fans hasnt helped one bit.

I bet they wouldn't have.

Tennessee played hard for four quarters today all while knowing this could possibly be Chaney's last game. Dooley was in a similar situation last week and the team couldn't have cared less.

the second quarter called and would like to disagree.

:eek:lol: The MADD people are prohibitionists. Heck the woman who started the group has said so and left them. So as powerful as they are I wouldn't mind them. It's not like the beer barrel was used for drinking. When you think about it - Tennessee and Kentucky fighting over a keg makes sense given Jack Daniels and whatever it is their liquor is. ;) Kegs, specifically old kegs, are super important for whiskey making.
