As a fan of both, I'm disappointed I'm just now hearing about this, and yet extremely excited because it sounds awesome.

Never would have matched these two up. Can't wait to sit down and listen to it.

Yeah, I've been waiting on this since I heard the news. What are your favorite tracks? I would have to go with Refuse To Be Saved, Wake Me Up, Stick Out Your Tongue, and Tripwire.

You should, EC doing funk is pretty sweet.

After 3 full spins I love this album. Would have been nice to hear Black Thought do some vocals with EC though.

If they tour this anywhere near East TN I may have to go see it.

Really like the opening track Walk Us Uptown, then Wake Me Up, and Stick Out Your Tongue.

Honestly there isn't a bad track on it though.

Yeah those were pretty good. Wake Me Up & Stick Out Your Tongue are some interesting mix-ups of older EC songs.

Have to admit I'm not well versed in EC. I've always liked what I've heard but he's one of those classic artist I've never really taken time to explore his catalog.

I'd would recommend it. :hi:

He and the Roots are doing a show tonight to debut the album live, I wish I could have made it :cray:

He'll also be on Jimmy Fallon Tuesday and Thursday night.

Noticed there is a Deluxe edition of the album with 3 extra tracks. Tempting.
