Ross Perot ran as an independent and as a third party (the Reform Party) candidate. That's true. Perot believed he saw a path to fiscal responsibility through the Republican party. In fairly short order, Musk realizes that is an illusion and that neither party will do what it takes to restore the country to not just adding to debt, but actually paying down debt.
"It doesn't."
I think i saw an interview where he said his dad and brothers are the manly dudes in his family. He grew up sensitive and artistic.Offerman played that role so well people cannot separate him from the character. He is very handy and he's got gumption, but he's also a man who cries a lot. He is a people person, not a grump. He is NOT a libertarian, and people can't believe it when they find that out about him. LOL. I must admit that as I was watching the show, I had the thought that he might indeed be libertarian.

I think I would have a blast eating a meal with him and his wife.
I tolerated the show Will and Grace just to see her character. They were married before he got his big break with Parks and Rec, so his main source of income was doing carpentry for his wife's celebrity friends. I heard Rainn Wilson freaking out about the craftsmanship of a dresser that he made for him.
There is a political party that Trump is destroying (or maybe I should say that Trump is causing to destroy itself)As I’ve expressed in the past, I think Trump will ultimately destroy the GOP. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Musk or someone else bring a new party to fruition.

I don't think Elon suggested he'd be the candidate. Not going to happen. For kicks and giggles, let’s assume for a moment that it’s probable for something like that to happen. Do you honestly think someone like Elon Musk who has no political pull is gong to make any noticeable impact on the GOP? He’s more full of himself than Trump is if he believes this is going to change anything.
It would take someone undoubtedly genuine who is truly for the people and has exceptional charisma to stand even the slimmest of chances of putting a noticeable dent in the GOP or Democrat party. Such a person doesn’t exist in American politics on the federal level.
The Democratic (communist) party will not go away, as long as American citizens continue being more morally depraved and godless, they will always have a place in the Democratic PartyThere is a political party that Trump is destroying (or maybe I should say that Trump is causing to destroy itself)
You ever hear of the democrat party? Your grandkids might one day read about it in history class.
Does THIS look like a Republican Party being destroyed?

That's a dumb take. You want to know a cult, look at your partyI don't think Elon suggested he'd be the candidate.
A **** ton of money, though, can make a new party happen. Winning a Presidential election is another story... But Perot had it in his grasp decades ago, but pulled the rug out from under himself.
Dissatisfaction with the current 2 party system could make it happen... Look at the last several elections as proof positive that it doesn't produce great candidates. And, frankly, the GOP itself has morphed from a fiscally conservative, pro-world engagement party to a cult of personality built on Trump. In its current form, swing voters like me will never vote GOP.
He's a full blown communist, as most dims are but he knows woodcraftingOfferman played that role so well people cannot separate him from the character. yeah, I think it was one of those iconic roles done so good that he type cast himself.Offerman played that role so well people cannot separate him from the character. honestly it took me so long to find that quote I was starting to think I had misremembered and/or people were assigning the label to him while he was really just "more free speech than Twitter", but I finally found that quote. there are some others where he explains it some more, but really he just ends up trying to walk it back after people are calling him out for it.If he says he is a free speech absolutist, then you are correct and have the grounds to call him out on his hypocrisy.
There is definitely more free speech on the site now than there was before. From what I have seen. He bans people/deletes posts from users that attack other users in the comments of a users posts. There are plenty of criticisms about Musk and others on the site though.UT coaching searches aren't ran by people who say they are for totally free and open speech on their platform either.
he banned far more people than those making threats.
Networked with his grok ai always connected to the hive monitoring you.
What does grok mean?
“Robert A. Heinlein originally coined the term grok in his 1961 novel Stranger in a Strange Landas a Martian word that could not be defined in Earthling terms, but can be associated with various literal meanings such as "water", "to drink", "to relate", "life", or "to live", and had a much more profound figurative meaning that is hard for terrestrial culture to understand because of its assumption of a singular reality.“ - wikiWhat does grok mean?
To be candid, that progression mirrors my own. As a younger man, I was more idealistic and absolutist. And I still am on some issues. But my idealism on free speech has softened over time.honestly it took me so long to find that quote I was starting to think I had misremembered and/or people were assigning the label to him while he was really just "more free speech than Twitter", but I finally found that quote. there are some others where he explains it some more, but really he just ends up trying to walk it back after people are calling him out for it.
at first it was absolutist.
then it was absolutist but only up to what the law/Constitution protects.
then it was he was just against censorship, period.
then it was he was against government censorship, period.
then it was he was against government censorship that went too far.
and somewhere along the way it go to the point where he is not going to uphold free speech pretty much at all.
