First-year Tennessee tight ends coach Larry Scott said Eli Wolf who took down his older and much bigger brother (6-foot-5, 250 pounds) in a Circle of Life drill in spring practice has made tremendous strides the past few months and absolutely will help the Vols on the field this fall.
Sure, sure, Scott said. Hes a guy thats made some great strides in his development as a tight end as a whole, not just a receiving tight end. Hes done a really good job of blocking and putting himself from a fundamental and technique standpoint in position to help us in that area with what we do in our scheme. Hes done a fantastic job, and Eli is a guy we feel has made some tremendous strides and can be instrumental in helping us this season.
