I think there were a couple of undefeated teams they could never overcome in the polls, right? We will not have that problem as we start at #1.

Well good luck! And just like I told all of my friends who were UGA fans last year, the only direction y'all can move is down! :eek:k:

I am really amped up for this year. I starting getting the trailer un-packed from last year and all the gear cleaned up and polished for tailgating...GO VOLS

"Charleston Southern"

Honestly, until this year, I didn't even know they had a football team. And I usually know college football teams. Florida should put 60 on the board. The next week vs Troy will be tougher. Florida will win but Troy will give it their all.

I have never, ever, heard of Charleston Southern.

LG can you please explain the Charleston Southern game to me, Troy is a little more understandable but Florida could have at least scheduled a MAC team or something. I am not understanding why Florida is scheduling such games. But then again we scheduled Western Kentucky and one of the worst MAC teams OHIO

One word: money. Florida has to have a certain number of home games every year. The game with UGA is a problem because its always in Jax.

As a consequence, Florida has to find non-conference teams that will not insist on a home and home. You guys for example can schedule a UCLA home and away because you aren't stuck with annual neutral site game. Money.

We have room for the same number of home and homes as you do, while still allowing for seven home games.

It's the FSU series, not the UGA series, that is forcing you into teams that don't require a return game. Not that you should cancel it - just pointing that out.

I just heard them announce yesterday that the UCLA game (Sept 12) will start at 4:00. Can you imagine how HOT it's probably going to be at that time of day?

Not nearly as hot as it would be down here in Florida, or as hot as it would be at noon...

Seriously, by kickoff it should be fine, with it cooling down slightly towards the end of the game...

Here's to hoping that the vols exceed expectations and the gators don't, here here. Toast to that my friends. Budlight will have to do on this end.
