That’s so laughable. Kiffin? The guy who hasn’t been at ANY job longer than 3 years and has got Fired at every job, again in 3 years or less. What does it tell you if they don’t allow you on a bus or even allow you to coach the national championship game? Use common sense.

Tells me he poked Nick Sabens daughter.
All we need is a few years plus the media would get shut down with that move.
He wants to be here why go thru the embarrassment of ten more coaches saying no

Nebraska may be the only fan base in the world more delusional than us about how good their football team should be.

Fine choice, but Nebraska isn't saddled with Currie and HoH. They won't screw this up.

Has it passed everyone that the #1 (by majority of sites and experts) coach still hasn’t left UCF?

Scott Frost, hottest name out there, is still available. If you are willing to pay double for Gundy, why not use those same funds to lure Scott Frost? HOMERUN

Wins the east in two years.

Heard of Nebraska?

While most of us are sure he is going to Nebraska, whats wrong with making an offer after Saturday? All he can do is say no. Hell, go down swinging.

What if Memphis wins? Won’t affect frost to Nebraska but that will definitely cause Norvells stock to rise even higher. If we have already made a hire @ that point Will our fan base care that Norvell didn’t even get a phone call?

All hypothetical but also a very possible scenario .

He's a really good MAC level , I mean Conference USA coach. Don't think he's cut out for a Power 5 team. At least his record at Power 5 teams doesn't indicate that he is capable of head coaching with the big boys.

He shore is purty tho...I think that's what some of our Kiffinites like so much about him.

Lol

Wow. You just cannot see ut can you? 2009 was our year when we can actually say our team was coached. I mean really coached. You dislike Kiffin, I get it. I dont like him as a person. But if you cannot see he can coach then you are just blind.

If Gus loses Saturday, Arkansas making a push for Gus. If he wins, they are going Norvell or Morris. FSU is going after Taggert, hope he says no.

No one and I mean no one can match Frosts coaching tree, from Bill Walsh, Bill Parcells, Jon Gruden, Bill Belichek, Tom Osborne, and was the OC for Chip Kelly.

He has been OC and DC in his career, who else has done that? He can show off rings from being QB at Nebraska, talk to the smart geeky kids he is recruiting about his time at Stanford and talk with the 5 stars about his years in the NFL as a safety.

Yeah, “up and comer”
Before Frost: 0-12
After Frost: 12-0 this year

I agree with you 100%. You need to send this information to Currie and Haslem.

Literally nothing to loose. After 8 turn downs

Have there been rumors from Nebraska or Frost?

If Currie hasn’t reached out to him and offered the house to put him in orange then that’s just sad. That doesn’t surprise me though.

Also, he’s almost a lock to go to Nebraska it seems. But, you still have to offer him, right?? He was my number 1

If he and Nebraska have a MOU that has been signed by all required parties to place it in effect, "giving him a call" is useless.

Gundy's one of the best coaches in college football.

And Frost is going back home to Nebraska.

Did you like the 4 running plays from the 7 yard line with time running out against UCLA? Bryce Brown 2 carries no yards, and Montario Hardesty 2 carries 6 yards. The last 2 runs from the 3 and 2 yard lines with the game on the line, and turned it over on downs at the UCLA 1.

Or, did you prefer running Hardesty into the line with 25 seconds left for a loss at the Alabama 27 to run 21 seconds off the clock, to set up an injured Daniel Lincoln up for another blocked field goal? Blocked because Lincoln couldn't get enough elevation on his kicks that day.

I watched their game last week - his offense is very much like Butch’s.

Guy in the office across the hall from me is a Nebraska alum. It was over when Osborne called. It’s done. Will be announced about half hour after the conf champ game this weekend so he can finish what he stated at UCF and tell his team. Good for Frost.
