I have been telling my friends this was like the 1980 election when the polls had Carter running away with it

I know I was 7, but everything I have read on it, reminded me of this election

Heck I wasn't thought of for another 13 years.. But a lot of older folks I've talked to said the same thing.. Radio hosts are saying the same thing.

the rapist comment (misinterpreted IMHO) was at the very beginning of Trump's campaign - the day he announced. No way it could be the last straw.
