Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

one problem with the game is the cities are not large enough.

the caves, grottos, etc are plenty but there is no city that makes you feel like it is a real city.

Morrowind has some very good cities and the one in the north was massive. Oblivion had some good cities. I was expecting more from the cities here. They need to fix this next game. More actual people living and walking throughout the country.

Yeah, they were pimping out the cities as being 1.5-2 times larger than Oblivion's. They did do a better job of having more smaller settlements and unlike Oblivion, there's actually an economy.

Markarth rocks, though. That's an example of a city where they completely nailed the ambiance and backstory.

I've played this game for around 8hrs and it's pretty stale. I can't bring myself to play it anymore, it's too repetitive. I should have known after having Oblivion. Too bad this game doesn't have Dark Souls combat mechanics, I think it would be much more entertaining. Anyone want to trade me something? It's for PS3.

That would be pretty cool.. the gameplay in Dark Souls is great

Likely a dumb question, but how do I relocate my horse easily when it runs away during a battle. At night primarily, I am wasting time looking for it.

probably the easiest solution would be to fast travel to a stable or just about any location outside of a city's gate

You can fast travel to the nearest location you've discovered and it will show back up.

Yes! Do want! Except it will be wasted on me, because I'll play it for 2 weeks and cancel my subscription.

Amen on the bears! It always gets interesting when I'm whipping a dragon and bear or sabre cat or both decide to jump in

Just started playing Skyrim for the first time last weekend, I played Oblivion meagerly back when I worked so much that I could barely game. I enjoyed it but never felt that invested.

With that said, I'm completely enthralled by this one. I seriously never can decide what I want to do. I go through phases where I want to work on smithing and enchanting, I go through miscellaneous quest phases, I go through pure hunter phases, I advance the story here and there, I sometimes just jump out of Whiterun and start walking around seeing what I can find.

I just love this game.

I hope the next game in the series takes an even more epic step. I'd love for there to be a more legitimate ecomony, more and better NPC's, more uniqueness among the towns, some sort of impact to your character by things like climate and weather, and some sort of multiplayer component.
