Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Just killed my second dragon. Picked up the retail earlier today and had a hard time putting it down. Running high settings at a cool 45 fps.

Dual wield and new spells are excellent. Visuals and mechanics are stunning. The world feels real dynamic and, combined with the sheer vastness of it all, makes you feel like a flea on an Irish Wolfhound.

Dual-wielding Dwarven daggers like a boss. Sniping dragons like a boss. Shouting random **** off of tables like a boss.

Specs:

Destruction
Light Armor
One-Handed
Sneak
Archery

I picked it up last night. I only got to play about 30-45 mins. Spent most of that developing my character.

Jeez, the way the Dark Brotherhood contacts you is just....epic. Loving this game. I turned the difficulty up to expert, so it's a little tougher, but it's amazing.

Mages destroy me in this game, jesus!

I thought it might be cool to compare how some of us are playing.

Nord
one handed
heavy armor
smithing
destruction/block (I keep switching between the two)

I knew this game was huge, but it makes me feel like a fish in the sea. Just got done doing some side quests in Whiterun and joined the Companions. I also attacked two woolly mammoths and got owned. Haven't gotten the chance to square off with a dragon yet, that's probably a good thing.

This game feels more like Morrowind than Oblivion to me... and that's a very, very good thing. I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far

God I may be the only person in the world that hasn't played it yet and it makes me sad.

It's overwhelmingly huge, and the main quest is very, very interesting. Combine that with the 5 billion factions you can join and randomly generated quests and... it literally never ends.

It gets to the point you don't know what the hell you want to do first.

I've played for about 9 hours so far and I've only been to Whiterun and Solitude out of the major cities. It is truly amazing.
