You should :hi: You get much, much, much more gameplay out of an Elder Scrolls game than you do out of most other games.

How lost am I going to be if I get this game...Not having played any of the previous ones.

I've watched the demo vids and it seems like this is a seperate story? yes/no?

From the dev notes, this one has nothing connected to the previous story. Was noted that you will not miss anything if this is the first time you have played the series.

I have been looking for a used copy the last couple of months and still havent been able to find one. They are cheap though, if you could manage to find it.

Funny you say that....I actually did just that last night. I got a collectors edition of oblivion for 16 bucks.

I started it last night. I just need to get used to it. Made it through out of the sewers and just started walking. Didn't take me long to get dominated.

I have a regular copy and the GotY edition.

The 11th can't come fast enough. I still play Oblivion on occasion, and I'd probably play Morrowind too if I still had it.


Is anyone else getting it for the PC?

I'll be getting it when it comes out. I don't really have time to sink into a game like Skyrim, but I'm sure that wont stop me.

I've never played an elder scrolls game, but this looks hella fun. I'm thinking about picking up when it releases.

I was going to skip school, but because my doctor can't excuse yesterday (I went to the doctor today), it's looking like I'll have to go to school :cray: However, I am home again tomorrow. Sinus infection...

I'm almost 30 now, have never gone to a midnight release for a video game, but am seriously considering doing it for this. Mostly because I don't want to have to get dressed/leave the house at any point on Friday. I will enjoy a three day weekend with this game.

This is from the same people who made Oblivion and Fallout right? i loved Oblivion... and the Fallout story was pretty good.
