Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I've been having fun with it. The only issues I have with it are that accessing the basement is like going outside, you get a load screen to go in or out and you're limited to 3 additions onto the great hall with no way to undo or "remodel" later on.

As it turns out, you can have multiple properties. There are achievements for owning 3 properties and for building 3 houses.

I have yet to receive another letter from the Jarl, hoping that comes soon.

if you buy it with the intentions of also purchasing the DLC, get it for the 360. Apparently Dawnguard for the PS3 is a mess and Bethesda doesn't have a firm timeline for fixing it.

Good to know. I also heard the PS3 version is just messed up in general. Or was there a patch that came out to fix it?

$40 on Amazon.

Skyrim is the best game ever made for the xbox 360. I would say the best game ever, but the issues with the ps3 version has definitely muddied the water.

How is Hearthfire? I wasn't too excited about the first DLC with the vampires, so I passed.

the massive amount of storage and display space that the three houses contain makes it worthwhile.

the one thing that's aggravating is the display cases aren't dedicated to single weapons, you can just dump whatever you want in them, just be prepared for some frustration since there's no way to be precise with dragging and dropping items.

new DLC coming December 4th.

the suit of armor at :50 looks pretty badass

sweeeeeet. Looks way meatier than the vamp expansion.

one thing I wished they would implement (it wouldn't be hard) is a hardcore mode - similar to the Fallout series in which your character must eat and sleep to survive; and you heal slower.

Would be much more realistic/challenging.

that would be awesome. they did it with fallout, hopefully they will do it with skyrim. the more "real" it is, the better. that goes for any game i'm interested in.

First impressions of Dragonborn anybody? I'm gonna buy it in the next couple of days but not right now. I'm still finishing up Dawnguard and a few other objectives. Dragonborn is suppose to be a massive expansion with lots of goodies!

Gotta finish the vamp expansion first; black ops has been distracting. Got a reason to now

I have put in about 20 hours into dragonborn. I have also completed the main quest. Buy this dlc!!! Dragonborn has easily given me another 60 to 70 hours of gameplay because of one feature. At the conclusion of the main quest you get to completely remake your character! I got to reset perks that i wasted early on and made my original charcter soooo much stronger. Now the best part. I was getting a little tired of my main character anyway so i also used the perk reset feature to completely redo my original. I now have another main character that attacks foes in a very different manner than before and better utilizes being a vampire. This one feature added by dragonborn has given me extra insintive to put another 20 to 30 hours into my original character. It has also given me basically a new character that attacks foes in a different way that i am excited to use and continue to build. Another 30 hours at least i will be giving to skyrim because of this "new character". I also have the benefit of only being around level 40 so you can imagine how many quests i have left to do with either character i choose to use. Someone else may have completed the majority of the quests and this feature may not be as important though. Some cool new blessings and shouts have been added also. Overall, this is a must get for any skyrim lover! Did i mention, you get to redo perks!? hahaha lol! awesome and much needed feature!
