How long do you think it takes Elander to realize he needs to fully manage from dugout? During this season? Next season?

I have yet to talk to any legit baseball knowers that actually played as well, that are favorable towards any manager being on 3rd 1/2 the time. A manager needs to be able to manage entire dugout players and staff and that can’t be done from 100 ft away.

He needs to manage from the dugout you say? Although unusual, I’ll wait to see the results before passing judgement. You obviously are an expert on the subject so I won’t bother to discuss the nuances.

Knew it wouldn't take long for some dolt to start criticizing Elander.

Send him an email and let him know he doesn't know what he's doing. Maybe he'll hire you

A lot of college baseball managers coach from the 3rd base box.

Some of the greatest College Baseball Head Coaches of all time coached 3rd base continuously..

Elander at 3rd base is absolutely fine...find something else to complain about.
Honestly when I first saw him standing over at 3rd, I thought to myself “Elander buddy you don’t have to do that anymore” 😆 but then rational thought reminded me that I have no idea what I’m talking about lol.

The walls are closing in... And the vultures are circling it looks like. 🫩. Lord, this place sometimes!
The offseason crew around here is fine. Civil folks, mostly. We can get our panties bunched but not often and generally there is some sort of mea culpa.

The problem is folks drifting over to the baseball forum from other forums in recent years, knuckle dragging their deep seated arguments.
