I don't feel like reading the replies right now.....


I don't like the choice and feel that it was a "we need somebody now" thing, but I WILL be supportive of our coach.
I do plan on buying season tix (and from the looks, I will get them at a good price) and drive to K-town to go to as many games as I can.

It could be better, it could be worse. Regardless I love the University of Tennessee with all of my heart and will support him until the day he turns his back on us or gets fired.

Good luck coach! Give your all for Tennessee!

i was 8 when we were Champions and i was 18 when we went 5-7. i sat in the middle of Alabama fans and shouted GO VOLS when there appeared to be no hope. granted it would be a little bit ridiculous i would still wear orange if Hamilton hired a monkey. if you dont have the same pride we have....we dont want you.

I could be wrong but I believe Vollygirl was stating she is a VOLS fan. We all may not be happy with the coach and never happy with a loss but a lot of us are VOLUNTEERS fans. Our caring don't matter. MH doesn't call us like he does you.

Alot of us are VOLS fans, true VOL fans.. we don't miss a single home game, whether it be a loss or not, supporting our team, coaching staff and showing good sportsmanship come 1st.. Loathe a loss but whatcha going to do? Negativity works its nasty little way down to the team, nope that doesn't work for me.. Bring it, Coach Dooley!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clapping:

I am glad you are not going to go watch the Vols for the next 5 years, that way a REAL fan can watch the game. I also assume that since you Know what is going to happen that you will no longer be posting here on Vol Nation (One can only hope) I do not live in Fantasy Land I live in the land of reality. You see I am a Vol Fan. I grew up going to football and basketball games with my dad, and those are the memories that I will cherish all of my life. I was in hopes that Kippy Brown would be hired as the new Head Coach, but that was not to be, so I stood up like a MAN and a Vol and put my support behind Coach Dooley. Time will only tell if this was a good choice or not, but why pre-judge a man and a coach because he is not a "Huge Name" ... Reality is, that at one time those "Huge Name Coaches" were no name coaches. I will be there in the next 5 years pulling for the Vols, and no matter what I will be pulling for them until the day they plant me in the ground (Wearing an Orange shirt) GO VOLS !!

I have been a Vol fan all my life and always will be. Tn will never go away and will rise to dominance again. I do not know how good of a coach he is but he seemed liked he is a hard worker and very intelligent. My best freinds and I do not have season tickets but we do not miss a game. I say the man is going to work hard and GIVE HIS ALL FOR TENNESSEE. And that is what I am going to do as I have for all my life. GO BIG ORANGE!
