He’s the AD at Tennessee and he’s giving an opinion...and he was right. What does it matter how much money he makes?

He's only right if the player doesn't get hurt or suffers some other kind of setback that hurts his draft stock. It's easy to say John Kelly might help himself by staying another year and playing in a pro style offense, for instance.

On the other hand he could get hurt. Kelly has to weigh not only learning a new college offense this year and a new staff or just learning a new NFL offense from a new staff this year.

No current college player is going to get better advice than McKenzie.

I was just pointing out that somebody who has made millions of dollars at a University over the years might ought to just congratulate the young men and leave it alone.

I didn’t say that wasn’t their choice to make or criticize them, but stating the fact that they came to Tennessee on a full scholarship to play four years and they “quit” on the team possibly costing the team a bowl game. Peyton did not quit on UT.

I've read a lot of posts on here over the years that I thought qualified as the most ridiculous, but they are all fighting for fourth place after reading the three you put on the first page of this thread.

How do you know that they came to UT to play for 4 years? Scholarships are not 4 year blocks, but are renewed yearly. I'm not sure that any of these players agreed in writing to play for UT for 4 years. And if UT didn't like what they had to offer once they got here, UT would "encourage" them to pursue other "opportunities".

Too many fans have a sense of entitlement approaching almost an attitude of ownership with respect to these players, and their freedom of opportunity. Very un-American in my opinion.

Vickers and Daniel are the only ones who has a chance to make s roster. The rest are just practice players they’ll get cut during training camp

They all have a chance. No one in a million years thought Coleman would do anything in the NFL

Mosley could make it as a special teams player. I doubt it will be as a corner.

Phillip Fulmer: Some Tennessee Vols football juniors 'probably' should have stayed for one more season

I agree with Coach/AD Fulmer. Maybe you should pay the University back for your scholly if you leave early.

Agree to disagree but this is silly. Most of your best players are only 3 year guys. Honestly I would be happy only having 3 year guys. If they are declaring early its because they are good enough to play at the next level. In turn that means we field a pro team every year ( BAMA )

I hope Daniels makes it, he was an absolute life saver for us during his time here. He has earned a shot.
