Eat right, Run..bike..work out..swim..yoga..and die anyway. What’s your health and workout plan

I did something to my shoulder attempting a heavier bench than I've been doing and I'm so mad at myself. Haven't had an injury in so long. Posterior delt area, hopefully just a rotator strain. Resting today. Grrr.....

I feel ya. I think i strained my QL rucking. It's knocked me out of my squats and RDLs. Injuries suck.

Bike ride: 20.85 miles, 677’ elevation gain, 1:51 riding time. Rode an old, familiar route, but they’ve closed an underpass for work on the bridge above. The detour was not bike friendly. Enjoyed the company of Cyclists Over Sixty members. We teased a couple with four years to reach 70. We will all still be COS when everyone reaches 70. 😉

I can't keep up with you guys. But I did get off the couch six weeks ago and started a walking routine. I averaged 15,205 steps per day the past 42 days. Mostly outdoors, but on a treadmill at Planet Fitness if the weather doesn't cooperate.
That's awesome!! Doesn't matter how you do it or how fast you do it... just move.

Be proud of your accomplishment

Comparison is a thief. The only competition you have is yourself from the day before. Be proud of what you have done and keep working toward your goal.

A big part of my exercise lately has been yard work. I don’t have a large lawn. It takes about 20 minutes to mow (longer if I need to edge as well), but doing it in 90 degree heat, even at 9am, is exhausting. I also trim the hedges, weed the garden, and add fertilizer when necessary.
Yep, yard work is work. Riding a bicycle, I create my own breeze. I do it first thing in the morning to avoid the oppressive heat. It’s still sweaty activity.

flat bench is notorious for fkng up your shoulders especially as you age.
