This is an easy trivia question. The first one to respond will NOT get a prize. I just wanted to start a topic about Tennessee linebackers.

OK, here goes. Besides Earnest Fields, name the 2 other starting LB's on Tennessee's D from the 1989/90 seasons.

What was your favorite LB combination of all time?

Favorite pair: Al Wilson and Raynoch Thompson -- Wilson was a predator...the prototypical intimidating linebacker that quarterbacks vomit before games thinking about. And Thompson was like a heat-seeking missile...he just had a way of flying to the football. They were lots of fun to watch.

most disappointing duo...the Kevin's.

years of anticipation for a full/healthy season of Kevin Simon and Kevin Burnett, and it never came together. Don't get me wrong, both were excellent contributors, but it seemed we could never get them both healthy and on the field at the same time.

Frank Emanuel and Paul Naumoff.
I liked Naumoff on the Friday night football show he and Kesling used to do on Channel 10. I wish he still did some sort of analysis on one of the myriad of shows that have popped up.

I never got to see it. I'm too far West.

Besides, Paul's older than I am. :p

Dale Jones and Kelly something. Anybody know his last name it is real hard to pronounce or even spell.

Kelly Ziegler-
Out of Miami in high school. Had an article about him during the Sugar bowl in 1986 that he was a big raggae fan. Useless info i know.

Darren Miller was also a key linebacker also on that team.

Alright, so who started alongside Hacksaw?
Steve Kiner and Jackie Walker. Because Jackie was into the performing arts at the Clarence Brown theater, there were many rumors about his..........However he was a great and underrated LB and one of the first group of African-American players at UT. He was fast and could cover the pass as well as any LB that ever played at UT.

Was SHazzon Bradley an LB or DE?

Actually he was DT. Came out of high school and started out as a LB, but the but made his home playing nose and defensive tackle at the end of his college career. He was drafted in the 9th round by GB as a NT.

Became a professional boxer and was 21-0 according to his records.
