I know some people were throwing around the idea of wearing masks to the game. Instead of searching through threads for a link you can find them here.

Gruden Halloween Mask | Tennessee Sports Radio

Would like to see as much support on this as possible. Everyone wearing a mask should meet up at the Rock after the game to leave a clear message for the AD.

Support your hopefully future coach,

Jon Gruden.

If anyone would be interested or willing to print a couple out and hand them out on game day I plan on doing so. I would like to get as many people involved as possible on this. Any help from anyone going to the game would be greatly appreciated. Also, I would like to know who all actually plans on wearing one. Thanks!

I will be there with my wife and kids, and I can say we would absolutely participate.

Great! We'll be handing them out by firehouse subs and outside Neyland before the game. If there is anyone you know that would participate please alert them! We are going to try and get some solid footing behind this idea for Saturday!

I'm sorry, but does nobody see this as highly disrespectful and inappropriate for our current players and coaches? A game should not be used to say we want a new head coach. We should go to games to support the players and coaches we already have.

I can't agree with this idea. It's a new low for this fanbase.

Even if this is a joke, it's sad.

While I don't see how wearing a Gruden mask disrespects the players I respect your opinion. I'm there supporting the players and at the same time supporting Jon Gruden.

Does anyone actually think they will get them in through the gate? Especially now that there is a thread on it...

Epic, Monumental Fail. Should be confiscated at the gate. If it gets that far. Way to support our team. GoVols.

I am supporting the team. Just not the coach. They deserve better, we deserve better and Tennessee deserves better.

This is something I would joke about in a forum, but never actually do. Seems pretty distasteful to me as well.

And if I think something is distasteful, you might want to seriously reassess.

I agree. I want Gruden here TODAY. but this would be very distasteful. Our boosters know the deal, and Dooley is a great guy, no need for this.

You don't see how it disrespects the players? The game is not about Jon Gruden, and the game is not even about Derek Dooley. The game is about the University of Tennessee and the 85 men that are going to go out there during that 60 minutes and represent our school.

If you did something like that, and they look in the stands and see that you are more concerned with getting your point across that you dislike their coach, the one that recruited them, and that they play for, and that you can't just come support the team as a Vols fan no matter what for 60 minutes, yes, I think they would be a little disrespected.

Look, I'm all for Gruden, and I want him as coach. On a message board, I'm a Grudenite. But when I step in that stadium, or I get in front of that TV to watch the boys in orange, I am a Tennessee Vols fan, and that doesn't matter who the coach is, or who the players are. I support my team, staff included, when it's time to go out on the field.

Agreed. Dooley just didn't pan out as a great coach like we wanted him to be. But that still doesn't give us the right to openly disrespect him. He's done a lot of good for our program, and he took a job nobody else wanted to. I know there's speculation about him looking at other jobs and being a prick and whatever, but the fact is, he is still our coach, and he will be until he's not. You can want his head, but don't spit in his face. And yes, there is a difference.
