Most people will tell you to take a PE or History of Rock and Roll (fun class).

If I were you, I would take a 100 level intro class in something that you are interested in but don't see as practical to either take or major in. It won't take up much time, you will actually learn something, and it will sooth (or expand) your curiosity of other disciplines.

ANR 190.... I think that's the number anyway. Class goes over basic Microsoft Office functions. Seriously, the absolute easiest class ever. It was a ton easier than the technology classes in high school.

i did take bowling, weight lifting, raquetball and basketball, the only hard one was basketballbecause they had a written exam on the history of the sport.

human sexuality was awesome, 4 guys and about 40 women arguing about sex. tests were all open book.

I took both golf and tennis in college. Golf because I was already interested in it and knew it could only help refine my playing. Tennis I'm so glad I took, because I used to go to the Y and hit the ball around with friends when I was younger but never really knew how to play. I enjoyed learning about it and found out I was actually pretty good at it.

Question: Instead of wasting these kids' time and money on classes that they obviously don't care about (I was a in college also and had to take these silly classes), why not just remove the silly requirement of having to take these electives?

(I'm speaking for engineering majors only).

Character building Ras. Kids these days need to be forced to try new things. Onion has to have it's layers.
