East vs West Army game

What does that even mean?

The game is fine with it, considering it isn't a person, or even an animate object.

It’s a team sport, the greatest team game ever conceived act like you have some respect for it and the opportunity given to you. Is that too much?

I think acting like spinning a football is a disrespect to everyone that's ever played football is a bit too much.

If it’s just “kids having fun” then why doesn’t the NFL allow behavior like that? Adults can have fun too, right?

These players egos and behavior on the field is embarrassing to watch. I just saw a player make a tough catch, stand up and spin the ball on the turf, pick it up again and freaking punt it. Similar BS is happening all over the field. If my kid ever acted that foolish and disrespectful to the game, his arse would be in the car with me on the way home immediately. The parents of these kids apparently don’t care, encourage it, or have lost all control of their kid’s gigantic ego.

On a side note, picking the hat from a table with the cameras rolling is about the dumbest, overdone, and lame thing going in recruiting.

Rant over.

Don't forget this farce is what is needed to maintain your Star Status. If you notice in past years, players who commit early or don't want to participate in these stupid games will drop in status and rating.
It is sad to see this and in most cases it is a continuation of the way they were treated in High School also.
And we wonder why they act like jerks in College.

I agree.

You made a great play. Great job! Now move on.

There’s a fine line between celebrating and acting like a selfish prick.

You've never watched the Pro Bowl have you?

Which is what this is. The HS pro bowl.

I’ve never seen an NFL player spin a ball, then pick it up and punt it after making a first down catch.

And no, I haven’t watched the pro bowl in about 20 years. It’s the pure definition of boring

Okay, well they do far worse in that game. You know. Cause it's a glorified scrimmage. Like the AA game. What about regular season games?

I saw a bunch of players line up like bowling pins and get knocked over this season.

I guess that isn't disrespecting the game.

If you win who cares in my book. Maybe I'm crazy, but I enjoy a little passion and celebration. You don't wake up every morning at 4:30 to not get excited in games. On the flip side, if you dish it, you have to be able to take it too.

All the years I played never saw anyone act like that and we all had a ball! Not much different from sports and society in general,it's all about feeling entitled.

Disagree, think it has more to do with young people feeling free to express themselves. Back in the day people lost their minds of you talked smack, celebrated, etc... It's a game, they are kids, let it go.

Seen all the empty NFL stadiums this year?

But they’re just kids trying to have fun...

So were the kids from Vanderbilt.. 70% of parents with teens are unfit to be parents these days. I’m 22, the age of a senior in college, and clearly there was a lack of discipline with a bunch of kids these days. But don’t dare say anything about it, or you’ll be on the news for being in a racist.

They were running back down the field and punting or throwing the balls into the soldiers section. Thought it was cool considering all those taking a knee this year in the NFL.
