6-10 inches heading our way (Kansas City) tomorrow morning. City officials are urging people to stay home if possible. Pretty much all schools and colleges have cancelled before it hits, which is rare.

We're getting rain for a few days which means it's too warm to snow. I think we're good 'til next winter.

We were calling for 1-3 inches. Nothing but freezing rain so far.

They let schools out here around 1:30 because power outages have started in Tipton. My lights have been flickering since around 12:30.

Well we now are in a band calling for .25-.5 inches of ice tonight. With the heavy snow still in the trees, that amount of ice is sure to snap some limbs and take out some power lines. Should be a fun couple of days!

Anyone looked at the weather models for next week? Still pretty far out there and obviously these things change, but could be a good time coming for some snow lovers in the Knoxville area and east.
