First snowfall and there are already two cars that have slid onto the sidewalk in front of my housethis morning. Not even an inch yet...

Been out cutting the tree. Now to repair the roof. Not too bad. About a 2 foot hole on the peak.

I was in Omaha last week for work and it was brutal.

Been in 50s in Newport Beach and that's pretty bad here.

If I'd I moved to the south I wouldn't be able to handle the heat and humidity, but could easily handle and kind of winter weather you all get down there.

Trust me, ice is far worse than snow will ever be.

We get ice storms, too. In fact, the roads are slush right now. It'll freeze overnight and there will be more accidents. This city is really bad about the first snowfall.

After power came back on the heat decided to go out.. The guy just left after fixing it

My heat or air unit has not gone out in 2 years and that is something else.
Use to be every year It goes out usually the heat runs l low on freon.
Mine is a Water Source heat pump comes from the well & pumps through the system out to the pond. Heats and cools 3500 sq ft...

Im gonna have da man come out just to service it and the electric one upstairs cause its gonnna happen.. Like yours 72 when it gets COLD COLD it goes OUT..

Thanks for the snow! We got 3-4 inches yesterday. Roads are icy but passable. Kids are on 2 Hour delay but it is still raining so they may close the schools unless it gets warmer. More snow tonight and tomorrow.

It's times like this I'm glad I stock up in advance. One thing about OK is the fact when there are storms, no matter what kind, people tend to lose their minds trying to clear out grocery stores. A little proper planning goes a long way in that regard and having a couple of weeks of food and water saved up is never a bad thing.

Primary roads are passable today in Northwest Arkansas..
School still cancelled, due to seconadary rods still being a nightmare
