Starting to see intermittent sleet in west Knox/Turkey Creek area. A very little amount remaining on vehicle for a minute or two, but all melting off ground as soon as it hits.

Temperatures are still above freezing in the valley & mountains, which is keeping precip mostly rain for now.

9:11 AM Radar. Cold air is slow to arrive. Look for reduced amounts of snow, sleet & freezing rain for the valley.

9:11 AM Radar. Cold air is slow to arrive. Look for reduced amounts of snow, sleet & freezing rain for the valley.

I expect WBIR to say in the next hour "Look for increased amount of snow, sleet, and freezing rain." Just look at the last storm. While Aldrich stayed pat on 2-5 inches, Howell kept upping his snow totals from 1-2 to 2-4 to 3-5 during the storm.
