Days after longtime Pioneers Head Coach Tim James resigned to become the new Hamilton County Athletic Director. East Ridge has named former Sequatchie Co. & Coahulla Creek HC Chad Barger as the new Head Coach of the Pioneers.

His dad was my coach there in the early 70s. We didn’t make the playoffs in my 3 years.

I played at Chatt. Central in the '60's. The East Ridge game often ended in a bench-clearing brawl. Good times.
