I wont waste my money on another Nascar game until they finally add ALL the drivers and make it where in 2 player mode there is 43 cars on the track.

I know alot of you do not like this series, but it was released today and here is my opinion after about an hour of gameplay.

Graphics: A+ everything flows well, colors are great, tracks are very realistic, from the movement of the suns position casting shade on the track to the way the grass flys from the infeild when you get too low, absolutely great

Gameplay: B- even on easy it takes some getting used to, steering is ultra sensitive, it is much harder than any other mode that I have ever played in the series. Once you start to get the hang of it the swooping curves are smooth and spot-on

Overall going to be a great game. The new drafting visual is great, graphics are best I've ever seen, gameplay is smooth but tough, rent it and enjoy

Not all that impressed. I think if I had a wheel, it would be more fun. As it is, I may rent it one week but I doubt I'll be buying it.

Are all 49 regular drivers that try to make each race this year on the game such as AJ, Vickers, Wallace, Burton, Mayfield, and company?

88's assessment in this thread is right on the money....had to tune my controller down in the 20's for better handling and smoothness..after some online racing I already see ill need a racing wheel..definite difference.

finally somebody says it! ive always been frustrated about the 2 player thing. it seems like it wouldnt be that hard to fix.....:dunno:

After a couple of days, I am really enjoying this game. I have got the Super speedways and short track down, but the regular speedways such as ATL, cali, chicago are difficult. Overall a fun game should have made multiplayer is the only complaint. It is hard to learn but it is realistic and great once you get the hang of everything

Alright, couple of questions

Do the other cars wreck without you having to wreck them.

Is there a lot of options on how to adjust your car

Is there a full 43 official Nascar drivers in the game

Is this game realistic or do you drive around for 100 laps, but still not lap anyon.

It looks like from other posts that you still can't have 2 player for 43 drivers

Can you handle your car going down pit road and under caution or does the computer take control

Can you wreck other cars by touching them or do you still have to hit them in the right rear to turn them around

Also, can you view your telemetry during the race and pause and look and see how much everyone is behind the leader and what lap times everyone else is driving

Also, are Nasville, Kentucky, Milwaukee, or any other busch tracks in the game

#1 yes the AI cars do wreck, it is far and few between and they usually kep a perfect line.
#2 Tons of set up options, from the springs, wedge, aero package, to the tape on the grill and lots more,
#3 yes all but Carl Edwards
#4 Game is very realistic, but set ups are important, you must tinker with them and practice with them to keep up in the field even on easy.
#5 on 360 mode there is no 2 player mode, that does suck they need to bring back split screen with a full field
#6 Comp controls for cautions and pit road, although getting into the pits is better this year
#7 ultra sensitve cars, if you bump draft you better be ready for the AI to get loose
