Just heard he was let go by the Titans, any chance we could pull him? He has a solid record, and the results speak for themselves this year.

that makes no sense, why release someone that produced the leading rusher in the league..

this would be pretty good..i think the reason he was let go was money related. he can coach apparently, just ask chris johnson.

Cj could've done that with me as RB coach. He should be used in trickier ways, imo. Also, Lendale went from serviceable starter to garbage this year.

They got Kennedy Pola instead, a definite upgrade IMO...and he coached MJD, he's no slouch either...

I was wondering the same thing, I just heard on the radio that Jeff and him did not see things on the same page, whatever that means.

THIS! Hey guys I just heard John Elway just retired is there any chance we get him as our Qb coach. Just don't know if he could recruit though. If he doesn't want to coach, if Brett Favre retires is there anyway he could be our Qb coach? I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to ask! Lol some of yous guys are crazy!

Commentary: Titans, Fisher should explain Byner firing | Nashville City Paper: Nashville's Online Source for Daily News
Also, Byner’s resume contains something that no other coach in league history can claim. There have only been six men in the history of the NFL to rush for 2,000 yards in a season, and Byner has coached two of them — Johnson this season and Jamal Lewis in Baltimore in 2003. In addition to that, Johnson also became the first player in league history to run for 2,000 yards and have 500 yards receiving in a season.

Although we could move over to Celebrity coaches that might be selected like Montel or Denzel. They are very intense. One of the Wayans brothers could be a huge get as well. Major Pane comes to mind.

He wants money.. he probably got some looks and the grass is greener. Titans are cheep cheep cheep

Fisher is the ideal "budget coach" for a budget team. Anything too much better than mediocrity ends up moving on to bigger and better things than the Titans.
I don't see Chris Johnson sticking around much longer either.

Isn't Fisher the highest paid coach in the league? Adams is famous for being tight but lately the Titans have just had sound financial management instead of being cheap.

True, over the past few years, the titans have managed to win a relatively high number of games when compared to all the cap room they have. They've built primarily through the draft, with just a couple of middle of the road not bigname free agents sprinkled on. Actually a pretty good formula for success, it takes a bit longer, but helps in the long run a tremendous lot. But with this whole collective bargaining agreement crap, i really don't know what to make of any of it. I heard that "fisher and byner simply didn't see eye to eye" or something along those lines. who knows. either way, the vols probably won't be getting him anytime soon.

Oh i wouldn't go that far, true the titans are tight with the wallet, well technically just adams. who always has been going back to the luv ya blue days. but still, even the titans aren't cheap enough to let CJ walk out the door anytime soon. As i said before, byner is just a RB coach, its not like the titans just let vince lambardi leave the house.
