I hope that they take out stupid stuff like cheerleaders and mascots dancing in between plays. I hope blocking is better. I hope you can run into the endzone on goaline plays instead of just running into the goal line as if it were a wall....I'm sure I'll think of more after you guys come up with some other stuff...

i don't mind the cheerleaders and mascots that much. however, i wish they would get rid of the mascot games they put in there. and some new pontiac college classics.

I've never understood why the "Miracle at South Bend" isn't a Pontiac College Classic, or even the ND game from the year before that one.

No, actually, if you make a bonehead play you deserve to lose. This is football, not Zelda.

Has anyone played this yet? I know that a few stores had "accidently" released it early, and there were a few that purchased the game early. Two more days... :rocks:

West Towne mall, where I have it reserved here in Knoxville, is supposed to have it tommorrow. However, it may take a while to wait in those stupid lines. I may just pick it up Tuesday.

Just improve the AI, mainly. The AI did some seriously dumb stuff in '05, and they just made the game harder by giving the other team superpowers instead of actually increasing the intelligence.

agreed. this is what i found very irritating in 05. it seemed to me if you put it on all-american mode it was 2 easy. but if you put it on heisman it was 2 hard.

I haven't bought and will not buy a EA game for sometime. Buying the NFL rights just really ticked me off! Too bad, I really enjoy the college game they make.

I know a few that have it. One thinks its horrible, and the Heisman Mode sucks, and its no different then 05. The other likes it a lot. Not sure, but Im excited about the Heisman mode, and I think the Gameday Crew at the game sites is a nice touch. Graphics/gamplay looks a lot better too. Cant wait for it to drop.

I posted in the pub about it. I have only spent an hour or two with it but I can tell you that the game play is not that much different. Passing is pretty easy (or the Vols are just awesome) and its tough to defend the pass playing against another person.

I need to start working on the rosters. I wonder how quickly xbox rosters will be out?

If anyone has any other questions I will try and answer.

btw, the mascot and cheerleader shots between plays don't seem to be there.

i thoght the crew was only in the studio. i didn't know they were actually at the game site

I thought they were in the studio in my first game. Maybe that's just for certain games. Again, i didn't pay that close of attention.

My girlfriend pre-ordered for me through her profession, A major chemical corp. Never had a prob, since ive known her to get even the hardest UT tix other than bowls, Free.....Now she was supposed to pick it up after 5pm yesterday at a specific outlet, The shipment never showed up..Now even at best, unless i buy it where ever it pops up first. I wont get my own til Wed's after 5pm......It was a local but well known dept store that said it'll be wed's.....Is there a prob? Last min changes? or slow moving orders? Patients is a virtue lost waiting on other people to do their job........Hope theres some improvment with the game .It looks nice.....Guess i'll find out one day?

I hope to get it today, but if the lines are like last year I'm gonna say screw it and pick it up tommorrow.

You might be right. I thought I saw a video preview of them set up a college gameday type thing with the stadium in the backround. Maybe Im wrong, not sure. Also, the stadiums look a lot more realistic. Looking at some screenshots, theres a huge difference from last years.

the one thing i've always wanted is to involve alumni donations to help improve the stadium/facilities and not just recruiting/discipline/training. that'd make it more fun when you start with a smaller program and build it into a powerhouse. i hate winning a championship and having my average attendance 20,000.

If youre going to build up a smaller program, its not like youre gonna have a lot of $ though. but I agree, expanding stadiums/facilities would be pretty cool.

I'll be playing hooky tommorow to go get the game and play it all day! I like to see more injuries and weather issues like rain, wind, fog and even snow. Would also like for you to be able to go in at halftime and adjust on some stuff and have pre selected pep talks..that might be kinda cool.

I want it to have where you can save an instant replay, so you can show off later to friends.

Also, smarter defense on runs. When they are in a zone, it takes a month and a half for them to pick up the run in '05.
