EA Sports hates us

He's not making it up. EA does keep some roster inaccuracies on purpose.

It's not a big deal to rename the rosters. Or wait until someone else does and download them.

Did I say he made it up? It's a nice excuse by EA Sports, but not a valid one. Because if they are worried about being sued for player likeness, then they wouldn't use correct numbers for any of them.

That very well could happen. I hope not, but with a new Defense, it is possible.

Someone asked specifically about Hunters number though - they know he's 11 - so there's obviously some reason behind it.

Aye, I just don't buy the lawsuit thing, cause what's to stop others from filing lawsuits. I'm sure measurables are accurate along with most numbers, so everyone knows who they are.

you mean you dont buy a lawsuit thats public record? The reason they dont make the rosters as accurate as they could, is to be able to keep that argument that they are random and not depicting real people. This lawsuit and other boundaries that the NCAA has set on EA are the direct cause of this and have also been the reason for roster customization and the EA locker. I promise, its not a conspiracy because EA Sports hate UT.

I promise you, I don't think it is. You guys like to jump to conclusions. Like I said, how they get away with only changing a handful of numbers? So Tyler Bray can't sue? It shows his real number and he's white on there, so how they get away with that?

I get the whole random thing, but as far as numbers I don't buy it simply cause they have real numbers for players that play those positions. Why the NCAA would allow 1 and not others is beyond dumb.

Youtube hates UT....when I searched for the video the pic icon was the score from the game

Because it strengthens their case (which they haven't lost so far) that it is more random even if a couple of players are different. You change the whole team and you have a very unhappy group of consumers. You change a few - it makes their defense even stronger and doesn't make the fans too mad. If Tyler Bray were to sue for likeness their case would be it is just a coincidence because if you look you won't find #11 Justin hunter or #21 has dreads and clearly Rogers doesn't. And they change stuff like their hometowns and such.

They haven't lost a case so there's no real reason to go balls to the wall and change everything up. Just adds assurance. They have guys Dedicated to rosters do the aren't going to overlook basically two future NFL WRs with major blunders like that.

Score tracker said Wyoming was beat Texas and LSU was only up 7-0 against, north Texas in 2nd half.

Anyone know if were running thru the T?

That was Reese Davis' voice announcing the score; which means that this is a not-so cleverly disguised effort to throw everyone off the scent as to the real culprits behind the hate: ESPN!

When will the foul agenda of hate stop!!!!!!!!!!!

When we start beating the S*** out of everyone besides just Vandy

I just watched the extended trailer and we should have won. We drove down the field within FG range, but couldn't get everyone back to the line so we spiked it and with the new Tennessee rule, the penalty ran out the clock.

Wouldn't matter anyways. Palardy would have missed the kick. Believe that.

Not going to happen.......Of course its because our game is the first game of the season that they used it for the demo. I hope they simulated that game to get that score cause somebody is going to feel stupid come aug. 31.

Its not just a game. Them thinking we are gonna get beat is not the problem. They still have hunter as #87 not #11 which should have been changed and they still havent put the running of the T.Not to mention how they usually give our players bad rating.

It's a silly video game that has no impact on the outcome of a game nor does it shed any negative light on UT.

To put it another way... it doesn't matter

my game from 2008 looks like it has the exact same graphics as the new one. They don't even try anymore.

Helmets are shinier. The demo is pretty good. A couple things are not new features like they would have you believe. I been canceling out the play action pass for awhile now.

Also, in my week 10 game we didn't have any points against Troy late in the second quarter.

Tennessee having a same team rating as SMU and a lower rating than Tulsa, seems kind of silly. And why does Miami have a 6* prestige, but Georgia is only a 5? It really isn't that big of a deal, but I do wonder how they come up with some of this stuff.

They must hate Texas too. Notice the ticker showing Wyoming leading Texas 14-7?
