Hard to disagree given the criteria. We're in there with Texas, UF, FSU
this....I mean who we gonna be mad at? They set criteria that makes complete sense. Also, not a single college in the first 2 tiers gives a crap about that payment. I honestly think payments should be backwards

Tier 4: $99,875.16 Tier 3: $59,925.09 Tier 2: $39,950.06 Tier 1: $9,987.52.

in fact don't even pay tier 1 and 2 give the money all to the tier 4 guys

It's based on the last 10 years, and we are 59th in winning percentage the last 10 years. We are lucky to be tier 2 considering that was the metric used. If anything, they gave us a bump because of the conference we play in plus our history/tradition/fanbase and so forth.

How are Penn St, Iowa, and Oklahoma St Tier 1?

Iowa finishing unranked 5x, top 25 6x, and one top 10 in the last decade is enough to get you there? Penn St is better (3 top 10s, but also 4x unranked) but that doesn't seem good enough either.

Wisconsin and Washington have a legitimate gripe to be included over Iowa and/or the Pokes. Hell, Washington has 2 playoff appearances and went to a title game.Screenshot_20240526_030917_Chrome~2.jpg

I could argue about a couple of the tier 1 teams and that they have better records due to much lesser talented teams, but would anyone here argue that either Butch or Pruitt were anything but tier 3 or 4 coaches. I certainly wouldn’t.
We're 70-53 the last 10 seasons if you don't vacate any wins from Pruitt, which I personally don't, that's still not knocking on the door of Tier 1 in any way.

If you're surprised by this, you probably suffer from short term memory loss.
I am surprised by this. So much so, I am going to post about it on VN.

Either the timeline should change or we should make an appeal.

How was everyone's Memorial Day weekend?
