I have no problem at all with the Tier 2 placement. We CLEARLY don't deserve Tier 1 status during the time frame specified. Hopefully, we'll change our course here soon.

It's based on the last 10 years, and we are 59th in winning percentage the last 10 years. We are lucky to be tier 2 considering that was the metric used. If anything, they gave us a bump because of the conference we play in plus our history/tradition/fanbase and so forth.

How are Penn St, Iowa, and Oklahoma St Tier 1?

Iowa finishing unranked 5x, top 25 6x, and one top 10 in the last decade is enough to get you there? Penn St is better (3 top 10s, but also 4x unranked) but that doesn't seem good enough either.

We're 70-53 the last 10 seasons if you don't vacate any wins from Pruitt, which I personally don't, that's still not knocking on the door of Tier 1 in any way.
